Long Ruoshui (born 2008) is currently studying at the International Division of the Experimental High School Attached to Beijing Normal University. An ENFP by personality, she approaches the world with openness and sensitivity, treating photography not merely as an artistic pursuit but as a way of life.
Long Ruoshui’s photographic practice is deeply rooted in personal memory and spatial experience. As a second-generation migrant in Beijing and a member of the LGBTQ community, she often projects her own struggles with identity into her images. Through subjects such as hutongs, outsiders, and religious rituals, she seeks to question the meanings of belonging, displacement, and memory. Her work aspires to be both a form of documentation and a poetic meditation.
